Report on Digital Literacy Workshop

Digital literacy is the knowledge, skills, and behaviours used in a broad range of digital devices such   as  smartphones,  tablets,  laptops and desktop PCs.  Digital skills encompasses practical abilities in using digital devices (such as laptops and smartphones).A workshop was held on the topic which was attended by all the teachers of middle section. During the workshop emphasis was given to its importance and to create awareness about new digital tools which the teachers can use to enhance their teaching methodology. The tools discussed during the workshop were twitter, Mindmaps, Prezi: another type of presentation, Photostory 3 etc. A healthy discussion and brainstorming about digital literacy and its role in developing other core 21^st century skills such as collaboration and communication took place and the workshop was able to inculcate a desire in teachers to put sincere efforts in enhancing their digital literacy skills
