It
is rightly said that the teacher
is the one who gets the most out of the lesson, and the true teacher is the
learner. At Ahlcon teachers are true learners at heart. They always love to
update themselves and they firmly believe that professional development is the
need of the hour for the 21st century teachers. Keeping this aim in
mind one teacher Ms Madhuri Dadhich has attended conference at Lucknow on the
very significant topic “ The Role of ELT in promoting inclusive growth”.
To apprise all the
faculty members of the middle section the presentation was given by
Ms. Madhuri Dadhich , English Language teacher, Middle Section.
Presentation began with the inspirational quote, ‘Inclusive
growth should not be a mere slogan but a fundamental driving force for
sustainable development’. The key
element of the presentation was to probe the role of English language instruction in
skills development for inclusive growth and to ensure quality English language
instruction for the underprivileged audiences/learners. It also investigated
that we should ensure that ICT is truly used to address inequality in language
education .
Many problems and
solutions were discussed. Various ideas were generated during Q and A session.
The presentation was very enriching and teachers have understood they play an
important role as agents of change. Ms Dimple Puri , Incharge middle section
summed up by saying that we need to take strong action to fulfil this goal to
promote inclusive growth.
