Investiture Ceremony Report

Ahlcon International School's Investiture Ceremony was held on 9th May, 2016. The day began with the Council members and the house prefects marching in with the beating of the drums. Heading the cabinet was the newly elected President of Student Council for the session 2016-2017, Samridhh Sharma.  Following her were the Vice Presidents, Payal Khatore, Raunaq Bahl, Kanika Baid and Shrriya Kapoor. The Sport Secretaries, Shivek Tyagi, Vinamar Maheshwari and Akansha Jain also marched ahead with pride. The Ahlcon torchbearers were then given their mementoes of pride, that is, their sashes and the badges. The council members and the house captains, were rewarded with the badges and the sashes from the Principal and the dignitaries. The house prefects were given their badges from the house in charges. After the badges were distributed, the Principal made the members take the oath, and with a short but inspiring speech, made them realise theirresponsibilities and the value and weight they carry. Samridhh Sharma, President, Student Council made his acceptance speech with utmost eloquence and dynamism. The melodious school song was sung by the school choir, to spread pride in the alma mater. To end the day an honest and heartfelt Vote of Thanks was proposed by the Vice President, Payal Khatore on behalf of the four vice- presidents. After the ceremony ended, a photo session took place. The Auditorium was abuzz with the enthusiasm of the council and a promise for a brighter future for Ahlcon International School.
