Report on Workshop on Theatre in Education

As a part of the ongoing endeavor to encourage experiential teaching in teachers and to boost up the empirical process of learning in the students,theatre in education workshop was conducted by Ms. Komal Chawla, English Language Coordinator, Middle Section.

              The session was inventive and practical in nature. A wide range of strategies to boost up the learning process were also discussed keeping in view the change that theatre brings about in the teaching learning process.Many games and activities were conducted throughout the workshop, like the fruit salad game, power game, name and gesture game to make the sessions more exciting and electrifying.

Overall the sessions were very elevating and left an enduring impact as it empowered the participants to prepare the students to be effective citizens by developing a positive self-esteem and enabling them to take their decisions by thinking critically.
