WORKSHOP REPORT

Topic: South Asia PASCH Youth Camp for German Learners
Date: 24th May’15  -  30th May’15                                    Duration: 1week
Venue: Eagle Ridge Resort, Bangalore
Brief Description:
South Asia PASCH Youth Camp for German Learners was organized by DPS Society in association with Goethe- Institut/ Max Mueller Bhavan from 24th May to 30th May’2015.
Students from Pakistan, Iran, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bangalore and Delhi were participated in that camp.
Different types of workshops , Sport, German Classes and Excursions were planned for the students.
I got the opportunity to teach A2 level to the students.
On the very first day ie. 24th May, students and teachers from different countries and states reached Bangalore and rooms were allotted to the students and in the evening ice breaking session was conducted wherein students got to know each other and camp rules.
Second day 25th May, students attended German Classes from 9:30am to 1 pm. After that  different Workshops  like Painting, Pottery, Ethnic terracotta Jewelry making etc were organized for them.
Third day 26th May, students  went for Sport session early morning and then attended the German Classes  and after that students saw German movie.
Forth day 27th May, students attended Sport session then German classes  and after that they went to Zoo.
Fifth day 28th May, students attended Sport session, German Classes and then they presented dance and songs for the closing Ceremony.
Sixth Day 29th May, students went to Mysore and visited Chenapatna – The Toy Unit, Mysore Palace, ) Janapataloka – Historic place and St Philomena’s Church.
Seventh day 30th May, it was the time to say good bye to all the students and teachers who organized the camp very nicely.
