REPORT ON INTERHOUSE LITERARY COMPETITION

Date: 27^th APRIL’ 2015

Language is the reflection of oneself. It is the charismatic medium that precisely indicates the character and growth of its learners. As an ongoing endeavour to enhance the oratory skills of the students and to infuse in them the 21st century skills, various literary competitions are planned at Ahlcon International School from time to time. With the same aspiration, an Interhouse Literary Competition was organised on 27^th April’ 2015 in which various events were planned to nurture the creativity of students of different levels. Face to face was an innovative platform given to the students of class VI wherein they personified various characters and their respective authors. Students of class VII spoke vociferously during extempore. They were able to convey their stance in an impressive and assertive manner that left the audience spellbound. The students of class VIII presented magnificent pieces of poetry that touched the hearts of the audience. The audience were startled to witness such mesmerising performances. All the compositions made the audience ponder over the topic. The competition was given a befitting ending by our respected Principal, Mr. Ashok K. Pandey. The much awaited results were announced and the winners were duly acknowledged. The encouraging words by Vice Principal and Section Incharge truly motivated the students to touch the horizon as sky is the limit.
